How do I get Euro 2020 tickets?

Wembley Stadium will host the two semi-finals and the final, and the new European champions will be crowned on Sunday 12 July 2020.

The window for ticket applications for UEFA EURO 2020 matches at Wembley Stadium and the additional 44 matches of the tournament is now closed.

The best option is to procure “follow my team’ tickets which will be sold directly to the fans of the participating teams after the UEFA EURO 2020 final tournament draw which takes on Saturday 30 November 2019.

If England (or your own country team) team qualifies for Euro 2020 tickets then they will receive an allocation of tickets to all England matches for members of the official England Supporters Travel Club. These tickets will only be made available to members of the Travel Club and will not be offered to the general public.

You can join the England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) to get tickets or your own national association.

The other option is to use or booking Official Hospitality, which is now on sale for all matches, including those at Wembley Stadium.

  • Euro 2020 has been the most in-demand European Championship for tickets
  • UEFA received 1.9million application alone for tickets to the final at Wembley

Tickets were allocated via a random ballot after a record 19.3million requests from fans to go and watch a match at the tournament, which is to be held across Europe next summer.

The most in-demand match was the final at Wembley stadium, which will be held on July 12.

Player to Watch Euro 2016

August 2, 2019 by Euro 2020 Tickets

David De Gea is one of the names going all around the web these days he was already famous because of his Madrid scenario and he became more when he was preferred above Iker in the Euro.
Andre Iniesta is without any doubt one of the best players the world has ever seen. His World Cup Final performance will be remembered for ages. After the retirement of Xabi Alonso and Xavi Hernandez he is an automatic choice and currently his team is completely relying on him. He will be seen playing in the front 3, he can assist, finish and tackle he is a complete package.
After scoring in first two games for Wales Bale has become an overnight legend. And a goal against England created history. He is magic, his pace is un-match able and yes, we all know about his finishing.
England have played against three opponents determined to sit extremely deep, and therefore Walker hasn’t needed to concentrate on defending. Instead, he’s continually stormed forward, taking advantage of Adam Lallana’s drifts inside to overlap and provide a steady stream of crosses. Few players in this competition boast Walker’s combination of strength and stamina, and with many top sides struggling for full-backs, his attacking presence has been crucial to England’s impressive displays.
One year back nobody knew about Dimitri Payet but this year the hosts are madly expecting from him. He also netted some fine goals in the Euro so far. He is one of the deadliest free kick takers in the world at the moment. And yes, home support can make him more dangerous.
Morata missed chances in Spain’s opening game, a narrow 1-0 win over Czech Republic. But, crucially, he was a proper centre-forward in the right positions to miss them, something Spain have often lacked. In the next two games, the goals arrived: two against Turkey and another against Croatia, all fairly simple finishes to convert crosses or square balls. He’s encouraging his teammates to attack the channels, adding another dimension to Spain’s play.
One year back nobody knew about Dimitri Payet but this year the hosts are madly expecting from him. He also netted some fine goals in the Euro so far. He is one of the deadliest free kick takers in the world at the moment. And yes, home support can make him more dangerous.
These are some dangerous players we need to observe in this year’s Euro (round of 16).

Euro Cup – The extravaganza begins on June 8

March 12, 2017 by Euro 2020 Tickets

Come June and the world will witness the biggest football extravaganza of the World after the FIFA World Cup — the Euro cup. The tournament co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine would kick-start on June 8 and would run till July 1 and would see the best 16 teams from Europe battling it out for the continental supremacy. This is the first time that either of these countries are hosting the Euro Cup and this is also the last time that the tournament would see 16 teams in action as from next edition it would feature 24 teams.

Stakes are high and the temperature reaching ultimate point and with four teams from the top five in the World featuring in the tournament it has become very difficult to predict any favourites or winners.

Here are the teams to watch out for in the tournament and in all likelihood either of these would emerge as the Champion.

Spain: Ranked World Number, Spain also known as the Red Fury has a little edge over the teams considering they would enter the tournament as the defending champion as well as the reigning World Champion. Coached by Vincente del Bosque they are the only European side to have ever won the World Cup outside their continent. Spain which adapts to roaming movement and positional interchange amongst midfielders, moving the ball in intricate patterns, and sharp, one- or two-touch passing known as the Tiki-taka football would be a major force to reckon to in the tournament. Spain is grouped alongside Italy, Ireland, and the host Croatia which is an easy grouping for them at least on papers. They might face some challenge from their long standing rivals Italy but considering the momentum they have it should pose a problem to them. Spain’s success in the tournament would largely depend on their keys players like Xavi, Iniesta and David Villa amongst others.

Germany: They are currently ranked second behind Spain on the World Rankings they are a major force to reckon in the footballing World. Germany the runners up of 2008 Euro and third place holder in 2010 FIFA World Cup are a serious contender for the title. They are one of the best sides when it comes down to counter-attack and their resiliency is exemplary. They have won the European Championships for three times would be raring to add the third one to their tally. They are placed in the death of group alongside their rivals Netherlands and Portugal. Coached by Joachim Low, the performance of the team would revolve around how they main players like Thomas Mueller, Mario Gomez, Mesut Ozil, Philip Lahm amongst others perform.

Netherlands: Netherlands is the second team in the history of World Football to be ranked the number team in the World, without previously winning a World cup, the other being Spain. Known are ‘Oranje’ they won the European Championship in 1988 and are the runners-up of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Coached by Bert van Marwijk, went till the quarter finals of the last edition of the Euro Cup and would definitely look to win this year’s tournament. They are currently ranked number four in the World and would largely depend on the likes of Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Robin Van Persie and Klaas Jan Huntelaar amongst others for their success in the tournament.

Euro 2020 Qualification

March 20, 2015 by Euro 2020 Tickets

The European governing body has unveiled the qualification setup for the tournament, with the new Nations League providing an extra avenue into the finals

Uefa’s Executive Committee has confirmed the format for the qualifying stage of Euro 2020, with the new Uefa Nations League named as one of the avenues for progression to the finals.

The 54 European nations will be split into four groups of six teams and six of five, with the winners and runners-up from all 10 groups earning a place in the continent-wide special edition of the tournament in 2020.

Such a format means no third-placed teams will qualify – a significant change from the ongoing European qualifiers for the 2016 finals in France. Instead, the final four places will go to teams qualifying from a series of Nations League play-offs held in March 2020, just three months before the finals are due to be played.

Teams will play six matches in one of four leagues between September and November 2018 as part of the initial group phase of the Nations League. Within each league, four teams will then play off for the last four spots at Euro 2020.

The 2020 finals tournament will take place in 13 different countries around Europe, with the semi-finals and final to be played at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The Uefa ExCo has also announced that Russia will be banned from incorporating Crimean clubs or using Crimean territory to host fixtures as of January 1, 2015.

The Russian Football Union (RFU) made moves in July to incorporate three Crimean clubs – TSK Simferopol, SK ChF Sevastopol and Zhemchuzhina Yalta – into its football despite them being part of the Ukrainian football league setup.

But Uefa has now confirmed that Crimea will be considered a ‘special zone’ for the purposes of football, protecting it from RFU advances.

A statement explained: “Under the supervision of Uefa ExCo member, Mr Frantisek Laurinec, Uefa will also fund the development of football in Crimea, especially for youth and football infrastructure initiatives, with the precise funding to be determined at a future Uefa ExCo meeting.

“This solution brings the situation in line with the statutes of both Uefa and Fifa and aims at ensuring that football can be played and developed in Crimea.”
